The Tacoma Art Museum is a premiere regional museum with a permanent collection that includes works of such notable artists as Renoir, Degas, Mary Cassatt, Fay Jones, Andrew Wyeth, and Dale Chihuly.
“We were very concerned about the acoustics, particularly in the high-ceiling lobby, before our first event. However, the lobby and the event space perform beautifully. BRC did a great job on both the room acoustics and the sound system / AV design.”
-Janeanne Upp
Executive Director, Tacoma Art Museum, 2003-04
Our Role
BRC provided architectural, mechanical, and sound/AV design for the large-volume lobby space, galleries, and event space. Exterior design was provided to control vehicle traffic and train noise from nearby arterials and train tracks.
